Clif Bar unveils new, easy-to-open packaging for Clif Shot Bloks

BERKELEY, Calif. Clif Bar on Wednesday introduced new packaging for its Clif Shot Bloks sports energy electrolyte chews — stacking six chews in a dispenser that opens easily, allowing runners, cyclists and other outdoor athletes to conveniently use just one hand to use the product.

“Athletes love the form, taste and effectiveness of Clif Shot Bloks, but they wanted it wrapped in a package that’s easier to use during training and competition,” stated Chris Randall, Clif Shot brand manager.

According to Clif Bar, the new Clif Shot Bloks Fastpak uses 33% less packaging material than the previous packaging.

Clif Bar is also introducing a new flavor line extension for Shot Bloks — mountain berry.
