CVS to carry Identigene DNA paternity test

SALT LAKE CITY The Identigene DNA Paternity Test gained distribution of its paternity test kits through CVS/pharmacy, the company announced Monday.

The test kit is also being offered online through CVS.com.

In addition to CVS, the test kits are available at Meijer and Rite Aid.

The test kits are not available in New York because a state law requires a doctor’s prescription or a court order to initiate a DNA test, Identigene added.

Since its official launch in March, more than 40,000 people have already taken advantage of this opportunity to get definitive answers to their paternity questions, the company stated.
