12/5/2014

DENVER — Healthgrades, a leading online resource to help consumers find a doctor and prepare for their appointment, on Thursday launched a new Right Care Center with content to help Americans make smarter health choices this holiday season.

The launch of the center coincides with the release of a related survey, conducted by Healthgrades, that found that half of all visitors are concerned about health issues this holiday season, and half also plan to take stock of their family’s health as they head into the new year.

The Healthgrades survey revealed that Americans’ biggest holiday health concerns include gaining weight (55%), stress (50%) and managing health conditions (25%) . Similarly, consumers cite exercise (65%), weight loss (64%) and healthier eating (59%) as their top New Year’s resolutions.

The new center provides consumers with articles, information and tips on topics, ranging from healthy holiday meal ideas to stress reducing techniques, and helps them kick of a healthy new year with a Healthgrades doctor visit appointment planner.

“At Healthgrades, we’re committed to helping consumers stay healthy all year long. Our new healthy holiday center provides consumers with trusted advice and information within the context of the decision-support tools and trusted content they’ve come to expect from Healthgrades,” stated Brad Graner, president, Publisher and Advertising Solutions, Healthgrades.
