HRG's Dave Wendland shares marketing best-practices at CDMA


WAUKESHA, Wis. — Dave Wendland of Hamacher Resource Group will present, “Marketing at Shelf: The Last 100 Feet,” at the Chain Drug Marketing Association’s Annual Trade Expo in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The session will concentrate on the front-end opportunity and how drug store owners and managers need to focus on shelf strategy and retail execution to viably compete in the age of “see it, buy it” consumer activity.

“Maximizing retail performance has come to depend largely on what transpires in the last 100 feet," Wendland stated. "Retailers have to replenish stock in a timely manner, add new items quickly, improve forecast accuracy and inventory turns and collaborate with their wholesalers to drive value at the shelf.”

Wendland is just starting his speaking engagements for the year, having presented at ECRM’s Cough/Cold, Analgesics & Allergy EPPS at the beginning of the month. He has several additional speaking engagements at industry events scheduled throughout the year.
