Nauzene Kids is ready for stomach flu season

10/21/2015

CHICAGO — As seasons change, the incidence of gastroenteritis, or stomach flu, increases, and Nauzene Kids is among the only products labeled to relieve nausea from the stomach flu in children.

Nauzene Kids’ grape-flavored homeopathic liquid doesn’t contain aspirin or salicylate and is paraben-free. Adults can also use it relieve symptoms of gastroenteritis or stomach issues caused by overindulgence, the company said.

“Any stomach remedy containing bismuth subsalicylate should not be given to kids under the age of 12 years old,” longtime school nurse Michelle Rogers said. “It's very important that parents read the label.”

Nauzene Kids is sold at CVS/pharmacy, H-E-B stores, Meijer stores and other retail stores. The suggested price is $6.99 to $9.99.
