NBTY introduces new label, package design to supplement line

BOHEMIA, N.Y. NBTY earlier this month introduced a refreshed label across its Sundown Naturals supplement line. The new translucent orange bottles are designed to attract customers that will continue to protect the products from UV light and are 100% recyclable, making the packaging more eco-friendly.

And included in the redesign is easy-to-read copy to make choosing the right supplement easier, the company stated. In addition to clear product attributes, NBTY highlighted its allergen statements and included a section called “Smart Facts” to enlighten the customer around benefits of the product. The new package also features a new flip-open cap.

“Today, consumer confidence in the quality and safety of products is of the utmost importance,” NBTY stated. “The Sundown Naturals Quality Guarantee not only ensures customer satisfaction, but also reminds customers that all Sundown Naturals vitamins are laboratory tested for purity, potency and freshness.
