Perrigo appoints Canole VP corporate development

ALLEGAN, Mich. The Perrigo Co., the world's largest private-label OTC product manufacturer, announced Monday that it had appointed Ray Canole, senior director corporate and business development, to the position of VP corporate development. In his new role, Canole will be responsible for prescription business activities and broader, corporate-wide development opportunities.

Canole originally began working for Perrigo in 2002 as a business development analyst. As senior director corporate and business development, he managed the company's acquisitions of JB Labs, Unico and Diba.
