Publix to offer Healthnotes kiosks
PORTLAND, Ore. Healthnotes on Thursday announced that Publix Super Markets will offer Healthnotes Connect “Fresh Ideas” kiosks in its Publix GreenWise Market stores to provide shoppers with healthy living ideas and recipes at their fingertips.
Publix is unveiling stand-alone GreenWise Market stores targeted at health-conscious shoppers. The Healthnotes kiosks are being provided as a service to customers, educating them about the benefits of fresh foods and health-related products.
Publix’s first stand-alone GreenWise Market store, currently scheduled to open this fall in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., will feature Healthnotes kiosks in the store as an extension of the healthy living resources Publix already offers its shoppers in-store and online.
In almost every department of their stores, Publix provides nutritional shelf-tags to highlight certain healthy foods.
Additional GreenWise markets are currently planned to open in 2008 and 2009.
The agreement is an extension of Healthnotes’ three-year relationship with Publix, which includese Healthnotes content under the “Wellness & Pharmacy” section of their website.
