SleepRight ProRx dental guard expands distribution
The makers of the SleepRight dental guards, Splintek, is continuing to expand the distribution of its SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard. The product has launched into select Publix locations and the retailer’s website, following its June entry to certain H-E-B stores and its website and the April launch into Walmart stores nationwide.
The product is made from a moldable thermoplastic material that softens at 140 degrees Fahrenheit, which Splintek said is a lower temperature than other custom moldable dental guards, which require boiling water. The company said this lowers the risk of burns when fitting the warmed material around the user’s teeth.
The SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard uses a molar guide fitting feature, which centers a user’s molars once they bite down, which the company said makes it easier to guide the guard into the best position for fitting. Splintek also touted the longevity of the product, which it said protects teeth for 10 times longer than its leading competitor. It joins the SleepRight Select-Comfort No-Boil Dental Guard on Publix shelves.
