3/14/2013

ATLANTA — SoloHealth on Thursday announced it has been selected as one of the Technology Association of Georgia’s Top 10 Innovative Technology Companies. SoloHealth was recognized for its FDA-approved health and wellness kiosk, the SoloHealth Station.

"The Top 10 awards are given to an elite group of companies whose products and solutions are not only changing their respective industries, they also are putting Georgia on the map as a state where technology innovation can thrive," stated Tino Mantella, president & CEO of TAG.

"We are honored and humbled to be recognized with this group of incredibly talented and innovative companies, as well as by a worthy organization like TAG,” commented Bart Foster, CEO SoloHealth. “We are extremely bullish on our product, people and technology, and we look forward to what we expect will be our most pivotal year in terms of scale and expansion into exciting new health services opportunities," he said. "We are exploring many new ways we can leverage our versatile platform to continue to help better our nation’s health, especially as the country prepares for the Affordable Care Act rollout.”

Projected to be in more than 3,500 locations by end of year, the SoloHealth Station is currently in select retailers across America, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Safeway and Schnuck’s Markets. The SoloHealth Station is a healthcare access platform for consumers, providing screenings for vision, blood pressure, weight and body mass index, a symptom checker as well as an overall health assessment free of charge. The Station also connects consumers to local professionals through their databases and can serve as a resource to provide health and wellness information and services.
