Tecnu Bites & Stings recognized for innovation

ALBANY, Ore. - Tec Labs on Thursday announced its latest product, Tecnu Bites & Stings Medicated Itch & Pain Relief Wipes, received the World of Wipes Innovation Award at the 10th World of Wipes International Conference this month in Chicago.

The award is given by the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry to a product that "demonstrates creativity, novelty, uniqueness and technical sophistication." The winner was selected by attendees of the conference.

One side of Tecnu's medicated wipes is textured while the other is smooth. The individually wrapped towels are infused with a homeopathic medication to give immediate relief from insect bites and stings. Tecnu Textures is the name given to the trademarked technology.
