Valeant Pharmaceuticals launches eczema-friendly CeraVe ointment

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America recently launched the new CeraVe Healing Ointment, a product that was developed with dermatologists and contains a moisturizing complex that helps protect and soothe cracked, dry skin.

 

CeraVe Healing Ointment has been accepted by the National Eczema Association as an appropriate skin care therapy for people with eczema and does not contain lanolin, the company stated. The active ingredient, petrolatum, comprises 46.5% of the healing formula. 

 

CeraVe Healing Ointment will be available at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target and Rite Aid in January 2016.
