PetSafe is giving pet parents a new option when it comes to pet doors.
The Knoxville, Tenn.-based company is partnering with Larson, a company known for its manufacturing of storm doors and windows, on a pet door that can be installed directly into an already installed storm door.
PetSafe’s Pet Storm Door by Larson eliminates the need to cut into walls or doors, and features a maintenance-free design that contains a heavy-duty aluminum frame, tempered glass and a durable screen that is reversible for top or bottom ventilation, the company said.
"The partnership between PetSafe and Larson makes perfect sense because we both have a commitment to delivering the best in our respective industries," Tracey Quillin, the PetSafe doors category manager, said. "Pet owners will love giving their dogs and cats the freedom to come and go as they please with a product that is covering their needs in terms of convenience, durability and good looks."
In addition, the door contains a tinted pet flap, a magnetic bar closure, weather-stripping along the opening and a slide-in closing panel to ensure an energy efficient option, the company said.
Shoppers can find the PetSafe Pet Storm Door by Larson, which is available in two sizes, on Amazon.
