ANI Pharmaceuticals has introduced 18-mg and 27-mg methylphenidate hydrochloride ER tablets.
The product is the generic of Novartis’ Ritalin.
Methylphenidate hydrochloride ER tablets are a central nervous system stimulant indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children 6 years of age and older, adolescents, and adults up to the age of 65.
The product has a market value of approximately $505 million, according to IQVIA.
ANI also announced the launch of erythromycin ethylsuccinate for oral suspension 400mg/5mL.
The product, which is indicated as a treatment for various infections, is the generic of Arbor Pharmaceuticals’ Ery-Ped.
