Azova appoints new SVP of sales, operations

Azova, a company focused on creating digital health platforms for pharmacies, patients, physicians and payers, announced a new addition to its leadership team.

The Salt Lake City-based company announced that Ashton S. Maaraba, the former head of the product and partners team at eRx network, would be its new senior vice president of sales and operations.

“I look forward to collaborating closely with Ashton as we leverage his deep industry intelligence, insights and skills in leading both our sales and operations, while continuing to innovate our core product offerings and business infrastructure,” Paul Ewing, chief technology officer at Azova, said.

Maaraba will be responsible for Azova’s retail pharmacy, physician, pharma, patient and payer divisions, as well as company operations.

Maaraba has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, digital health, medical device and pharmacy services industries. He has held positions at PharmaSmart and Flavorx, and was on the advisory council for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and RxImpact.
