Benzer Pharmacy to dispense Cosentyx

TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy announced Thursday that it had been chosen to order Novartis’s limited distribution drug Cosentyx, a treatment plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis 

 

“We are excited about this privilege as this is a limited-distribution drug which is only available through a selected few specialty pharmacies.” Benzer Pharmacy chief clinical officer Lindsay Wall said.

 

Benzer Pharmacy will deliver Cosentyx through five locations: one in Auburndale, Fla.; one in Mint Hill, N.C.; another Moneta, Va.; one in Waren, Mich.; and its New Orleans, La. location. 

 

“Our patient advocates assist in managing these complex treatment regimens, and handle insurance concerns,” Wall said.
