Calif. health plan selects Diplomat as exclusive specialty Rx provider
SWARTZ CREEK, Mich. The Inland Empire Health Plan in California has selected Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy to be its exclusive provider for specialty disease management services, Diplomat announced Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Diplomat will provide dispensing and patient care services for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and Crohn’s disease for IEHP members beginning Nov. 1.
“We were selected by IEHP because we will improve services to their members,” Diplomat president Phil Hagerman stated. “Our disease state management programs are designed specifically to ease the burdens patients face in the management of their challenging conditions.”
The company has seen a lot of expansion lately. Inc. magazine listed it among the top 500 companies ranked according to growth, and it came in first place among 43 healthcare companies. According to recent company surveys of patients and healthcare professionals, 99% of patients were “satisfied” with the company’s services, and another 89% were “very satisfied,” while 89% of healthcare professionals agreed with the statement that “Diplomat exceeds the service levels of most other pharmacies.”
