Camber launches generic Zyvox

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Camber Pharmaceuticals announced on Monday the launch of linezolid, the generic version of Pfizer's Zyvox. Linezolid is used to treat different types of bacterial infections, such as pneumonia, skin infections and infections that are resistant to other antibiotics.

Camber will sell the 600 mg tablets in 20- and 30-count bottles.
