Camber launches Micardis generic

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Camber Pharmaceuticals on Wednesday announced the introduction of its generic of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Micardis (telmisartan) tablets. The drug is indicated to treat hypertension.

Camber’s generic will be available in 20-, 40-, and 80-mg dosage strengths and packaged in 3x10 blister cards.
