Caraco appoints interim CEO and director

DETROIT A generic drug company has appointed an interim chief executive following the resignation of the previous one.

Caraco Pharmaceutical Labs announced Tuesday the appointment of Jitendra Doshi as interim CEO and director of the company. Doshi’s appointment follows the resignation of Daniel Movens, who will assist the company during the transition.

Doshi previously served as interim CEO from September 2003 to May 2005 and has served in various other executive positions for the company since April 2001.
