Children’s Miracle Network receives free Rx cards
NEW YORK The Children’s Miracle Network has become the latest recipient of free prescription discount cards since the cards’ re-release.
Atlanta-based American Consultants Rx has been donating millions of the cards to non-profit organizations, hospitals, churches, schools and other organizations across the country. The program started in 2004 and has donated more than 25 million of the cards, which can provide discounts on prescription branded and generic drugs at more than 50,000 retail pharmacies across the country.
The company announced earlier this week that it had donated a batch of the cards to Resurrection Ministries, a church in Albany, N.Y.
