CVS/pharmacy to offer H1N1 vaccinations to Rhode Island residents

WOONSOCKET, R.I. CVS/pharmacy announced on Tuesday that it will provide H1N1 flu vaccinations at select stores in Rhode Island by the end of the week.

CVS/pharmacy is partnering with the Rhode Island Dept. of Health to provide vaccinations against H1N1 influenza.

"Our customers depend on CVS/pharmacy for their health care needs, so we are pleased to be able to make H1N1 vaccinations available at more than two dozen convenient CVS/pharmacy locations in Rhode Island," stated Troyen Brennan, M.D., chief medical officer for CVS Caremark. "We are committed to keeping consumers healthy in the thousands of communities we serve throughout this flu season, including here in our home state."
