Diplomat rolls out campaign celebrating American Pharmacists Month

FLINT, Mich.  — Diplomat Pharmacy on Tuesday announced that it is celebrating specialty pharmacists during American Pharmacists Month with a campaign aimed at exploring the role of pharmacists working in specialty. 

 

The Diplomat website currently features a series of videos in which children are asked about the world of pharmacy, and the site has an infographic sharing facts about what pharmacists in specialty actually do — from patient counseling to training and prescriber collaboration. 

 

“At Diplomat, pharmacists play a significant role in the delivery of care to patients," Diplomat CEO and chairman Phil Hagerman said. “They monitor and prevent drug interactions, consult prescribers on new and emerging treatment options, and help patients understand how to use their medications safely and effectively. This campaign gives us the opportunity to recognize pharmacists in specialty.”
