Eisai opens new U.S. headquarters

WOODCLIFF, N.J. Eisai held a ceremony to commemorate the opening of its new U.S. corporate headquarters in New Jersey.

The building is three stories tall and provides the company 209,000 square feet of space and capacity for more than 700 people. Eisai will relocate 300 employees to this site and will use the rest of the space for ongoing expansion and anticipated future growth.

“This new office supports other Eisai efforts in the United States, such as Eisai’s construction of a new 65,000 square-foot facility for future production and research and development formulation of oncology products in Research Triangle Park, N.C. and the addition of a 150,000 square-foot, basic discovery research facility at Eisai Research Institute of Boston in Andover, Mass.,” said Hajime Shimizu, president, Eisai Corporation of North America, and chairman and chief executive officer of Eisai.
