Emerson Group promotes Morgan to full partner


WAYNE, Pa. The Emerson Group on Monday named 19-year veteran Ed Morgan a full partner of the master broker company—Emerson handles sales, sales consultation and sales execution for the U.S. retail consumer products market.

“Since his arrival in 2005, [Morgan]’s responsibilities at the Emerson Group include the representation of Emerson clients at Walmart as well as responsibilities in the strategic areas of new business development, brand management and marketing,” said Rick Wellinger, Emerson executive VP. “[Morgan] works closely with two key Emerson clients, Carma Laboratories and Lornamead as brand manager for Emerson Group.”

Prior Emerson, Morgan served as director of sales for Walmart, Meijer and Puerto Rico for Bayer Healthcare—Consumer Care Division. Morgan has also worked in key positions at Novartis and Schering Plough.

A graduate of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), Morgan lives in Oxford, Miss. with his wife, Rene, and their two children, Margie Elise, 11, and Edward, 9.
