Epic Pharma launches generic Atarax and Mavik

LAURELTON, N.Y. — Epic Pharma last week announced the launch of hydroxyzine hydrochloride tablets in 10-, 25- and 50-mg dosage strengths. The drug — indicated for the treatment of anxiety — is the generic version of Atarax tablets. 

 

The company also launched trandolapril tablets, USP in 1-, 2- and 4-mg strengths. The drug is an ACE inhibitor used to treat hypertension and is the generic equivalent of Mavik.
