Generic drugs get $4 price at Kroger

ROANOKE, Va. Kroger, a retail food chain with its own pharmacy, is now offering a 30-day supply of a selection of generic drugs for $4.

More than 120 Kroger stores, located along the Mid-Atlantic region and the Roanoke Valley, have applied the pricing to over 300 generic drugs, including medications to treat asthma, diabetes and heart disease. The pharmacies will also be offering generic versions of such family planning treatments as Ortho Cyclen, Ortho Tri Cyclen and a fertility drug, according to reports.
