1/6/2009

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. GeneThera may soon merge with a publicly traded company, GeneThera announced Monday.

The molecular biotechnology company, based in Wheat Ridge, Colo., did not specify the company with which it was discussing a possible merger, but said it was also in discussions with other companies traded on the Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange to market its vaccine for E. coli and its testing system for Johne’s disease.

“Any merger will greatly enhance shareholder wealth and allow us to maintain control over our existing products,” GeneThera CEO Tony Milici said in a statement.
