Giant offers discount on groceries with Rx purchases

LANDOVER, Md. Giant Food earlier this month announced a new pharmacy program to help entice consumers to fill their prescriptions at the grocery retailer—5 percent off their next grocery order whenever they purchase five prescriptions using their Giant BonusCard.

There’s no limit to the number of coupons customers can earn, the chain stated.

“Our new pharmacy program offers our customers a great opportunity to save on their grocery bills which is very important during these difficult economic times,” stated Andrea Astrachan, consumer advisor for Giant Food. “The more our customers fill their prescriptions at a Giant Pharmacy, the more they can save on their grocery purchases.”
