GNP provides a little pharmacy pizzazz through its Pharmacy Transformation Services

1/13/2015

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — Good Neighbor Pharmacy is taking its independent pharmacy operators to a whole new level through its Pharmacy Transformation Services program, an intensive process that includes a complete analysis of business operations and profitability, from core prescription business and customer service to the front end and everything in between.

It's almost like an episode of The Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible, where a business is completely rebuilt from the ground up and given a fresh facing. Indeed, videos of three pharmacies that have been recently transformed feature Tom Bury, the get-it-done designer on Restaurant: Impossible, as GNP in 48 hours completely remodels the front-end, including the installation of a private consultation room. And while the pharmacy is remodeled, GNP business coaches help prepare pharmacy employees to excell in the new storefront.

Following the success of the program in 2014, GNP plans to expand Pharmacy Transformation Services in 2015.

GNP provides deep assessment based on a holistic understanding of independent pharmacies, combined with technology and analytics to enable data-driven business decisions, the company when announcing the program last year. From identifying new growth opportunities that diversify revenue to optimizing core prescription business, Pharmacy Transformation Services puts independent pharmacies in the best possible position to enhance patient lives.
