HealthTrio to offer health care provider ratings and consumer support tools

CENTENNIAL, Colo. HealthGrades will now start offering health care provider ratings and consumer decision support tools as part of HealthTrio connect, an online e-health program that provides communication between health plans, providers, members, employers and brokers.

Under the agreement, the members of health plans using HealthTrio connect could have access to HealthGrades’ Health Management Suite, a complete set of consumer decision-support tools that include health care ratings and cost calculators along with health-risk assessments and more.

“Managed care organizations can now have an integrated solution that combines e-health services with member tools from HealthGrades, the healthcare ratings company that consumers trust,” said Danny Ezrol, a vice president with HealthGrades. “HealthTrio and HealthGrades are in the business of providing access to healthcare information in order to reduce costs and improve care.”
