6/5/2009

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario HearAtLast Holdings has opened two new in-store clinics in southern Ontario as part of a new wellness model being launched by Wal-Mart Canada in select locations.

The chain of hearing stores specializes in the sale of digital hearing aids and testing services.

This new wellness model by Wal-Mart Canada features a new approach to healthcare encompassing vision pharmacy and a walk-in medical clinic along with HearAtLast as the hearing provider.

According to HearAtLast, this medical access approach will benefit both the patient and HearAtLast, as such issues as ceruman management and third party sign off will be much more convenient for the patient with a physician nearby.
