ICERx allows evacuees to get prescriptions filled at Safeways
PLEASANTON, Calif. People affected by Hurricane Ike can still fill prescriptions at any pharmacy store in the country operated by Safeway, including Randalls or Tom Thumb, Safeway said Tuesday.
Safeway, which operates 1,130 pharmacies throughout the United States, is part of the In Case of Emergency Prescriptions pharmacy record system, also known as ICERx.org.
