Illegal Internet pharmacy owner arrested in Oklahoma
GROVE, Okla. The owner and operator of four illegal Internet pharmacies was arrested on charges of maintaining a dwelling where a controlled dangerous substance is kept, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, operating an illegal pharmacy, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to reports.
The four sites were bringing in more than $24,000 a day to the owner, Norman Edward Enyart, Jr. who was released on $46,250 bail.
In a related incident, approximately 8,400 tablets of the acute pain reliever Soma that were intended to be delivered to Enyart were seized from a private courier in Tulsa, Okla., said Mark Woodward, spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control.
“Mostly likely [Enyart] will be facing another charge,” Woodward said, referring to the seized tablets.
