Impax launches authorized Solodyn generic
Impax Labs has launched its authorized Solodyn generic (minocycline HCl, extended-release tablets). The drug is indicated to treat only inflammatory lesions of non-nodular moderate-to-severe acne vulgaris in patients ages 12 years and older.
Impax’s authorized Solodyn generic will be available in 65- and 115-mg dosage strength. The product had U.S. sales of roughly $148 million for the 12 months ended December 2017, according to IQVIA data.
