Industry experts launch D2 Consulting; focus is successful Rx market strategy

ST. CHARLES, Mo. Two well-known pharmacy and healthcare industry veterans have formed a new consulting firm to help emerging and established pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies develop and execute strategic business initiatives.

The focus of D2 Pharma Consulting LLC, according to its founders, will be “ensuring successful launch, distribution and ongoing leadership position in the marketplace” for drug and biotech firms. Among its specialties: managing product launch, market development and supply chain issues, supporting trade and national accounts, selecting logistical support partners and other activities.

Behind D2’s launch: Dan Steiber, a pharmacist with an extensive resume forged at Longs Drug Stores and in the wholesale drug and third-party logistics industries; and Dean Erhardt, a veteran of Express Scripts and Cardinal Health whose last post was principal of his own consulting firm. Joining D2 are more than a dozen other associates with more than 200 years of combined healthcare services experience.
