Jewell-Osco offers flu vaccine

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. Jewell-Osco is now offering flu shots at more than 150 stores in the Chicago area through January 2008.

“Good health starts with good nutrition and preventative measures such as flu immunization,” said Jeff Bregar, manager of the Adult Immunization Program. In many cases, a flu shot is covered by Medicare Part B or other insurance plans.

Customers can call in for an appointment at (800) 783-0458 or walk into a store to receive a flu shot from a certified Jewell-Osco pharmacist.
