King announces availability of Altace tablets

BRISTOL, Tenn. King Pharmaceuticals has launched its new product, Altace tablets. The tablets will complement the company’s already successful line of Altace capsules, which is available in 1.25 mg, 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.

Altace is used to treat high blood pressure.

For the first half of 2007, Altace capsules had sales of $320 million, according to King.
