Kinney Drugs was honored for its political engagement during the Political Involvement Reception on Saturday.
Michael Duteau, VP of business development and strategic relations of KPH Healthcare Services, Kinney Drugs’ parent company, accepted the 2017 “Politically Engaged Pharmacy Award,” or PEP Award, in recognition of its leadership and participation in the NACDS Political Action Committee.
“Under the leadership of Craig Painter (executive chairman of the board) and the team, Kinney Drugs over many years now has consistently shown that they understand the value of NACDS-PAC and its importance in our advocacy efforts,” said NACDS vice chairman Mark Panzer, SVP of pharmacy, health and wellness for Albertsons, when presenting the award. “The support shown by Kinney Drugs has become automatic, signifying their unwavering commitment.”
