HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Kmart Pharmacy may now become a favorite for Medicare Part D members in 2018. The company has announced it will be providing pharmaceutical needs to patients that include copays as low as $1 when filling their prescriptions.

Medicare Part D members are being encouraged to enroll in Kmart’s free Pharmacy Rewards program, and those who are already Shop Your Way members can get $5 FREECASH points whenever a prescription is filled.

"Kmart Pharmacy prides itself on offering low-cost copays and extra savings to Medicare-eligible Americans," Mike Seesholtz, Head of Kmart Pharmacy said. "We remain focused on the overall health and well-being of our members, and strive to give them access to the best discounted prescriptions, an exceptional team of pharmacists, and other health-related benefits to ensure they receive the best quality of care."

These Pharmacy Rewards can be used to shop for non-pharmacy items at Kmart and Sears both in-stores and online. With a Medicare Part D plan, members also can receive coverage for commercially available vaccines including shingles, and pneumonia.
