Medicine Shoppe to use Kirby Lester automated counting devices

LAKE FOREST, Ill. A retail pharmacy chain has named pharmacy automation company Kirby Lester as a designated vendor for pharmacy-counting technology.

Medicine Shoppe International announced Tuesday that Kirby Lester would offer its with its complete line of automated counting devices to the nearly 800 Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy stores. 

"Kirby Lester has enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy stores, on an individual basis," Kirby Lester VP business development Christopher Thomsen said in a statement. "Now, we can consolidate our approach to this important group of community pharmacies."
