Mich. drug store chain offers generic discount program
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. A Michigan drug store chain has begun offering generic drugs at a discount.
Sav-Mor Drug Stores announced Monday that it had introduced the Prescription Rewards Club at more than 65 of its stores. The program offers discounts on more than 300 generic drugs, including $4 for a 30-day supply and $11.99 for a 90-day supply, as well as free medication review that allows patients to find other ways to save money and ask questions or address concerns with their pharmacists.
“Our stores are Michigan-based and we pride ourselves on contributing to the communities we are located in,” Sav-Mor President and chief executive officer Richard Grossman said. “Our Prescription Rewards Club is yet another way to do our part in helping our customers during this time of economic difficulty.”
