Mylan announces launch of generic Robaxin

PITTSBURGH — Mylan on Thursday announced the launch of methocarbamol injection USP, 100 mg. It's packaged in 1,000-mg single-dose vials and is the generic version of Robaxin from Hikma Maple. 

 

The drug is used to relieve discomfort resulting from acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions, the company stated. Methocarbamol injection had U.S. sales of $15.1 million for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, according to IMS Health data.
