Mylan intros generic Minastrin 24 Fe

HERTFORDSHIRE, England, and PITTSBURGH — Mylan has introduced its generic of Minastrin 24 FE (norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol tablets and ferrous fumarate tablets, 1 mg/20 mcg). The drug is an oral contraceptive.

The product had U.S. sales of roughly $346.9 million for the 12 months ended July 31, according to QuintilesIMS data.
