NCPA announces three new additions to staff

ALEXANDRIA, Va. An organization representing independent pharmacies has added three people to its staff.

The National Community Pharmacists Association announced Monday the appointment of Joanne Thelmo as SVP and general counsel, Kevin Schweers as VP public affairs, and Ronna Hauser will fill a new position as VP policy and regulatory affairs.

“In Joanne, Kevin and Ronna, NCPA is getting three talented professionals devoted to providing independent community pharmacies with a strong voice in legal, public affairs and regulatory arenas,” NCPA CEO and EVP Bruce Roberts said.

Thelmo replaces John Rector as the latter prepares to retire later this year.
