NCPA appoints Capitol Hill veteran as vp of public affairs
ALEXANDRIA, Va. The National Community Pharmacists Association has hired Lisa Camooso Miller as its new vice president of public affairs.
Miller was most recently with the Republican National Committee as communications director. Some of her other positions include: deputy communications director for U.S. speaker of the house J. Dennis Hastert, deputy public affairs director for U.S. secretary of commerce Donald L. Evans and White House liaison for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
“We’re pleased to have such a talented and experienced communicator lead our public affairs team,” said Bruce Roberts, NCPA executive vice president and chief executive officer. “Lisa’s blend of political, Capitol Hill and administration experience will undoubtedly increase our organization’s volume as the voice of community pharmacy inside and outside the Beltway.”
