BARRINGTON, R.I. — Keegan Bradley and Jon Curran claimed the golf title at the 17th annual CVS Health Charity Classic on Tuesday, posting 21-under-par 121. Lexi Thompson and Harris English took second place at 19-under-par, and Billy Horschel and Jimmy Walker finished at third place, with a 18-under-par 124.
Since 1999, the tournament has raised more than $18 million for non-profit organizations across Southern New England and attracted PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours players.
This year’s tournament sponsored the inaugural Charity Miles campaign, sponsored by Aon Hewitt. The program asked fans to download its app and raise money for a designated charity while walking, running and biking. So far, fans have raised $25,000.
