North Dakota pharmacists to receive MTM training for dibetes

MINNEAPOLIS Medication Management Systems and the North Dakota Pharmacy Service Corp. have entered a partnership to provide training and technology to North Dakota pharmacists to deliver medication therapy management services to state employees and other beneficiaries with diabetes, MMS announced Wednesday.

The focus of the partnership, which is the result of legislation establishing the medication therapy management benefit, is improving medication efficacy, safety and adherence for diabetic patients.

“MMS is proud to assist North Dakota pharmacists in delivering a quality MTM program which will be especially meaningful to patients with diabetes,” MMS President Nathan Schultz said.
