NPTA running in limited fashion following Ike
HOUSTON As with most of Houston, the offices of the National Pharmacy Technician Association had no power, phone or fax service Tuesday following the city’s collision with Hurricane Ike, according to a statement made on behalf of the organization’s staff.
But staff members, their families and friends survived the hurricane and were in good health, though many staff members’ homes suffered significant damage. The NPTA Web site remains online, but the organization is unable to receive or respond to phone, fax or email correspondence until further notice.
The NPTA will continue conducting its certificate program training courses at the STAT Training Center through the use of its back-up generator.
