Oscient EVP for corporate development and operations resigns

WALTHAM, Mass. An executive at Oscient Pharmaceuticals has resigned to take a new job, Oscient announced on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

EVP for corporate development and operations Dominick Colangelo will provide business development consulting services to Oscient through Jan. 31, 2009, with the potential for an extension. He will be entitled to consulting fees, as well as an incentive for completion of certain business development objectives that the company did not specify.

VP of corporate development Anthony Watkins will direct all business development efforts, reporting directly to president and CEO Steve Rauscher.
